Woman Fierce and Gentle

“Your strength does not cancel out your softness. Your tenderness does not weaken your power.”
I love the beautiful contrast between the fierce and gentle sides of a woman, and how both can exist together in perfect harmony.

This painting came to me through channelling, and for me, it represents the wonderful dance between our inner masculine and feminine energies. One side of her face expresses strength, courage and determination — that part of us that knows how to stand tall, protect what matters and speak our truth. The other side is gentle, intuitive and nurturing, reminding us of the beauty of softness, compassion and allowing ourselves to simply be.

I love how the bold shapes, vibrant colours and striking contrasts bring these two sides together in one face. They’re different, yet neither is complete without the other. For me, this painting is about embracing all the wonderful parts of ourselves, even those that sometimes seem to contradict each other.

We don’t have to choose between being strong and being gentle. We can be both.

And perhaps that’s the most beautiful part of it — discovering that our true strength comes from accepting ourselves as we are, with all our contrasts, colours and complexities.
