“A wonderful celebration of nature’s colours and character.”
Just look at those colours! The gorgeous reds, yellows, greens and blues of a macaw parrot are absolutely breathtaking. Nature really is the most extraordinary artist.
I love the character of these beautiful birds, and I wanted to capture both their striking appearance and their wonderful presence.
I painted the macaw alongside a delicate white orchid, enjoying the contrast between the bird’s bold colours and the gentle beauty of the flower.
For me, this painting is a celebration of nature’s imagination — and a reminder of just how much beauty there is to discover in the world around us.
