“Two energies, beautifully different, coming together as one.”
There’s something so nice about the idea of eternal love — a love that embraces our differences while bringing us together in harmony.
I love exploring the connection between masculine and feminine energies, and how these two seemingly opposite forces can complement and balance each other. For me, Eternal Love is a celebration of romantic and unconditional love, but also of the beautiful balance we can discover within ourselves.
One of my favourite details in this painting is the symbolism of the two interlocking pyramids, forming the sacred geometric shape known as the Merkaba, or light body.
The upward-pointing pyramid represents masculine energy, while the downward-pointing one represents feminine energy. Together, they create a beautiful symbol of unity, balance and wholeness.
The vibrant colours, flowing brushstrokes and striking contrasts bring these energies together, expressing the wonderful feeling of connection between two people while reminding us that love also begins within. And perhaps that’s what makes eternal love so beautiful. It’s not about losing ourselves in another person, but about bringing all that we are into a loving, balanced connection.
Whether this painting reminds you of someone special, celebrates a beautiful relationship or simply speaks to your own understanding of love, I hope you discover something meaningful in it.
