Collection: Meditations on Red and Blue
“A little journey beyond the everyday, into the wonderful world within.”
This painting began with a simple idea. I wanted to experiment with Red and Blue while exploring the subject of meditation.
On one side, there’s a woman meditating, painted in a more defined way. On the other, I let my imagination wander, allowing colours, light and symbols to emerge more freely.
I love that contrast! One side represents the physical experience of meditation, while the other explores everything we might experience within — that feeling of connection, the mystery of the Universe and all those things that are sometimes difficult to put into words.
For me, Unbound is about giving ourselves permission to explore beyond what we can see.
